Every Thursday at 8:00 PM on the FVMKC W3ZIC linked repeater system is the Allegheny Region District N-1 ARES net. It is open to anyone including but not limited to Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES).  Suspended until further notice. The ARES Emergency Coordinator (EC) for Clarion County is Jeff Novak, KB3DIV; for Crawford County is James Tolbert Jr., WW3S; for Forest County is Phil Heck, KE3EI. A local SKYWARN net is activated as needed during severe weather.
